L'arc's bassist

Discussion in 'Bassists [BG]' started by RacingBeat, Jan 18, 2005.

  1. So... for those who know something about japaense rock,

what do you think of this tetsu guy?
sure he dresses funny, but how do you guys like him as a bassist?

Personally, i think his lines are creative and pretty hard to imitate.

also, what kinda bass does he use? I saw one in a video that looks a lot like an SG, but it's teal

Tetsu is my inspiration, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have fallen in love with the Bass as hard as I have. I caught L'arc en Ciel's first U.S performance at Otakon last year, and Tetsu was just there destroying everything. After that, I fell madly in love with the Bass and hunted down every bassline in my CD collection. I developed such an unyielding love for the instrument that it eventually led me to discover other great bassists like Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorious, Stanley Clarke and many more.

I started out playing the guitar with plans to pick up the Bass after I've become proficient with the guitar, but I guess that won't be happening. :smug:

Thank you Tetsu, you're my hero. :hyper:

I love L'Arc! Drivers High, Blurry Eyes, 4th Avenue Cafe all have killer bass lines!
