    Price:
    15000
    Strings:
    4
    Location:
    Indiana
An inexpensive job-winning bass. Copy of the Minnesota-owned bass formerly attributed to Gofriller, made around 2000 by Chi Yang (spelling?) in (maybe?) Chicago. Not a lot of info on the bass's origins or maker other than this was the last bass he made that I know of before founding Christopher Instruments.
41.75" string length, Eb-ish neck (almost feels in between), chromatic extension by Joey Naeger in Houston, recently set up by Guarneri House. Very playable for its 7/8s size, and really puts out sound.
The bass has earned spots at Curtis, Rice, Indiana, and several orchestras and has served me very well in auditions. I've made a fairly large upgrade and won't be needing this bass anymore.
The bass is currently on trial with an interested party but pending its return I'll post detailed pictures and measurements.
Comes with a brand new Bobelock case.

Bump for $15000, plus pics and dimensions.

Ribs - 9" at lower bout, 7.5" at neck heel
    Top length - 44"
Width at lower bout - 27.5"
Width at upper bout - 20.5"
    C bout width - 14"
    String length 41.75"
    Scroll length - 13.5"

Bass is sounding good and is healthy. Recently had a board planing (pre-Covid) at Guarneri House so it's feeling fresh. Pictured is the only damage the bass has received - ~12 inch rib crack on the treble side lower bout. Crack was repaired and has been stable for much much longer than I've owned it.

Any reasonable offers considered, and might consider a partial trade for a French bow or Gage removable neck flight case. Willing to lend it on 1-2 week trial to interested parties.

Here's a quick audio clip of the bass in my apartment I just recorded. Recorded with a Rode NT1 about a foot from the bridge into a Golden Age preamp into Logic via Focusrite Scarlett. Bass has a Permanent E and Original A, D, and G strings that have been played about 6 months.

Here's the bass in an ensemble as well if you're interested. Here it has Spiro solo D (extension string) and Belcanto solo B, E, and A strings.
