    Although his palette as a soloist is broader in nearly every dimension, I still hear echoes of Paul Chambers in the way he phrases eighth notes.

    I’ve been listening to this clip daily for the last month. Love his sound, and how he can make each note so even and full. And that descending schmear thing he does. Really nice trio...
