Just acquired an exceptional Canned Heat set from the Texas International Pop Festival of 1969. Some great blues bass by the Mole. Talk about soul!
This song in particular blew my mind. So I uploaded it. Enjoy!!

Always liked that tune. IMHO Canned Heat was very uneven - Larry and Blind Owl were the best things about that band.

By the way I saw that set at the T.I.P.F.

    What a line up!

Larry Taylor's work with John Mayall is also excellent. Mayall's U.S.A. Union in particular is worth the listen, lots of great bass from Taylor with no drummer to boot.
