It's a handling car that was never meant to top out high enough to break the record, nonetheless it's a beautiful quick car. Here is what I mean.
You'll be going faster than 100 mph if that car runs 9's in the 1/4 mile. 9.0's should be somewhere around 150 mph. Fwiw, for the other two cars listed, 10.80's is roughly 120 mph, and 11.70's is roughly 115 mph in the 1/4 mile.
Top Fuelers aren't heavy at all, but they stay down (reasonably well) going a lot faster than the Veyron does. Yay downforce! Traveling at those speeds, weight becomes a lot less relevant than proper aerodynamic design.

If I could have one for myself, I'd take the Bugatti. It's just so badass looking. It's also the classiest.
