I dont do much on the URB side of the house here but its time to move my upright on to someone who will play it as im no longer active on it. I have been a TB member since 2002 check my profile and feedback.

This bass was purchased from David Gage in 2002 and has been regularly maintained at his shop ever since. Bass is set up for jazz / pizz playing and recently strung with EA Spirocores and DG Pirazzis. Gage Realist pickup installed and Mooradian cover included. I also have a wheel for it somewhere which ill include in the sale if I can find it. Bass is gig-ready.

This instrument has a deep, punchy authoritative tone, projects incredibly well and records like a bass on a Blue Note record. I have used it on several professional recordings. I can arrange a Zoom call or provide videos and recordings to anyone interested.

The neck was recently reset with other maintenance work done by Sprocket Royer in August 2019 and appraised by Sam Findlay at that time, appraisal sheet is included here which contains all the specs.

As you can see from my pics im no photographer but can take more detailed pics of any area of the instrument for anyone who is interested.

Ill drive to meet buyers in the NY / NJ / CT / MA / PA / MD / DC / DE range. Will not consider shipping.

Feel free to PM or email any and all questions: edbocchino (AT) gmail (DOT) com

I can take PayPal or Venmo payments or set it up for Affirm. Flexible on price to a certain degree.

    Thanks for looking!

Hi Everybody - I'm new to this site, so basically I need to know what my options are for communicating when I'm interested in a bass I see listed. This one is very similar to a Czech bass I already own. My bass buying goal at the moment is to acquire a second instrument so I can set up my current bass to play classical and find a second bass for playing jazz. On first glace - this one looks possible. I live in Portland, OR, but I'll be traveling to the east coast sometime mid-2023. Thanks for helping me navigate this process!
