I'm not a fan of the colour but I don't really like that shade of blue... I think the knobs would look really cool with an ebony bridge.

    yes, but, you're canadien
    just kidding.
I dig the blue, I'm not crazy bout the knobs though. You can have em if you want......for some La Fin Du Monde that is!

sure I'll take the knobs, they'd look good on my old Aria of the same colour... :bag: or my Spector which is actually in playing condition. I don't know what Fin du Monde is though.... *googles*... Oh...

  10. I'm with you. I think that blue screams "chrome". or gold...

I like black hardware with light, subtle colors, chrome for dark, rich colors.

Yes, the knobs would look KILLER with a macassar bridge.

I like the body style very much but I'm more a traditionalist on the neck....whilst I LOVE the fingerboard, I'd rather have the neck made of birdseye maple. with that said, one of my basses has a mahogany neck with an ebony board.

Im no big fan of the body shape, but i love the color combo and i REALLY love the neck. I played an all mac neck once and fell head over heals in love. It didnt neck dive at all, too. I say put some nice mac knobs on. MMMM HMMM!

I just realized it was your bass that I played with the all mac neck. haha. I wanted to get Nino to build me a bass with an all mac neck, but it came out to be too much money and other things happened. I sort of wish I had gotten that bass : /, but I really shouldnt say that in front of the Nordstrand.

Two things that jumped right at me were already addressed. The wood knobs gotta go (they make the bass look like a blue gingerbread man) and a fretless and unlined fingerboard to finish it off.

I also vote for black hardware.

  17. ahhhh...my french c'est tres mal!

I never heard of the stuff...when I was in Quebec, I always drank Molson or LaBatt

  18. do the fretless for the sole reason that i want you to send that neck to me...i really like that!

in all seriousness, go with the frets...just my thoughts...no rhyme or reason :)

if I use the fretless I might actually be putting the fretted up for sale, if you're interested.

  20. Man oh man. I wish I had a good excuse to get me one of those G4s, one of the most elegant bass body shapes I've seen. As for the finish, I'm really glad to see how gorgeous Warmoth's trans blue over swamp ash is in a full size picture (the example on their web page looks a bit dull), since I should receive my custom Strat-Tele hybrid swamp ash body with the same finish in a few weeks :hyper:
