I just joined my friend's band last week. We've played together a couple of times and the drummer and I go together very well (I should have some mp3s of us jamming sometime within the next couple of weeks). One of the things that made me feel good about this band is that the other guys are all very open to trying out different ideas. Anyway, I was driving with my dad today and he put Santana's "Amigos" on. That got me thinking that it would be really cool to try to impliment a latin type of rythm to some of the songs we've got.

Can anyone suggest me some recordings that would give me an idea of how that type of rythm has been implimented in rock? I just thought it would be really cool. Thanks.
