    Just another lucky day
    Your money’s on the table
    Fat cigars between your thumbs
    Your groove is feeling able

One hit away from black jack
    Makes your mind up everyday
    Addiction to the feelings
    Spends your whole life away

    Another cause for rebels
    Has you dancing real slow
    You’re drunk on the romance
And now you’re ready to let go

It’s time to lay down, lay down

You hit the Turkish blend my friend
    Another draw from me
You hold a seven and a ten
    While I deal a three

Your take your chances on the wind
Be all that you can be
While I lay down black jack
And pull the pot to me

One hit away from black jack
    Makes your mind up everyday
    Addiction to the feelings
    Spends your whole life away

    Another cause for rebels
    Has you dancing real slow
    You’re drunk on the romance
And now you’re ready to let go

It’s time to lay down, lay down

    No money left, it’s 4am
Got to work in one hour
But you don’t give a **** my friend
    And choke another sour

    Stay awake all night
    Gambling your whole life away
    But you simply can’t ignore
What the dealer’s going to say

It’s time to lay down, lay down

    Solid. Very "dirty Vegas" feeling.

    I dig.

cool playing, but I don't really care for the lyrics.

    Pretty good, all in all.

Mr. DeepBob, always a pleasure! The vocals and bass seem a little extra up front (did I really just say that??) I like it!

I picture Nicolas Cage gambling and getting lit, hitting on some woman who's had a tough life and made some bad choices. ;)
