Up for sale is my LDS , all vertical, 212/horn cab. It features two, 3012HO Eminence drivers, and an 18Sound, XD125 tweet, with JBL Waveguide. Don and I got together on this build several years ago, and it had been my go to cab when I was in an 8 piece, party/special event band. No issues that I am aware of, never volume abused, pretty much played at wedding reception levels. Haven't used it much in the last few years, and I have since gone modular. Don rated this cab at 900 watts, 4 ohms load. The tweeter has a control on the side, toward the top, for easy access. Frankly, I never had it cranked more than half way. Various wear marks, like scrapes, minor scratches , stains, etc. from gigging, tolex in great shape. Comes with homemade slip cover, and casters. Very easy to maneuver, made from lightweight, 3/4 ply that Don had at the time. Don't really know the weight, but very easy schlepp as a rolling, tilt, slide into hatchback type of load. I used to put it up on a milk crate, two hand lift with ease, and I'm a little guy. This will be a local sale only as shipping is way too costly. If you live in the Detroit - Toledo - Cleveland, South Michigan, Northwest/east Ohio area, I would be glad to travel half way for delivery. $450, price is firm and I think it's a pretty good deal. Don't really need anything in trades, but you could ask. Thanks. {}
+1 for a great local dude and TBer - Johnny is a straight shooter! I recently bought his Shuttle 6.2 (I think the one in the picture above this reply) as a backup unit. No issues! GLWTS!
Oh, believe me! The thought has crossed my mind multiple times! If I was playing more rock gigs, it would be a done deal.
43.5 " tall, with casters, 20.5" wide, and 16" deep. As I said in my initial post, I don't know what the weight is, but, with the neo drivers, and lightweight ply, it's very easy for a small guy like me to pick up, two handed, and place on a milk crate.
Dang! Where was this a couple months ago before I bought a different cab? This is EXACTLY what I was looking for at the time. dcr
