Eat your heart out:
Check out this gorgeous Capone 5:
Jeez thats sweeet. THat wood is puurrrty.
Some interesting curves on that one; the upper horn looks incredibly thin. I thought this showed off an odd detail:
what type of wood is the red one.
man, awesome link...thanks JMX...i'm still gonna have that herr schwarz
JMX, do you actually own any Lefays and havent updated your profile in ages or do you just love these basses?
i would like to know if anyone has played a herr schwarz...and i think our JMX is just having a love affair at the moment
They're my dream basses since I played my teacher's Pangton 6 more than 10 years ago. I've met Reiner several times @ Musikmesse Frankfurt, he's a really nice guy.
I never really had the money for one, and you can't get them 2nd hand (well you can, but it's really rare - I know of ONE right now), but with the Herr Schwarz I finally be able to get one soon.
i thought it was weng, but i have never seen any one dye it befor/ dam gas.
I'm digging the nut design of those.
At last they put up a gallery.. GOOD!
