Too bad they didn't ask me before going ahead with it.

I thought it would be perfect.Nice! That Starcaster headstock works well!
Possible Dimension pickups in a non-proprietary shell?
If real, its basically a repackaged Dimension (Factory guy says to foreman and visiting middle management guy "Hey, I found a bunch of boxes with Dimension parts taking up space on the shelves. Should I throw them out?")
They're not Dimension pickups. They're double J pickups. Fender Dimension pickups have rectangular pole pieces.
The preamp might be the same as the Dimension, but I'd have to open one up to find out.
or ever come to market? lol
Tequila sunrise is a good name for the finish. I'd have to be hammered on those before I would play that publicly XDSo stores have been posting full specs: Fender Player Plus Active Meteora Bass - Tequila Sunrise | Rich Tone Music | Reverb
12 inch radius with a 1.5" nut width surprised me, but otherwise pretty much what we expected. The pickups being called 'Fireball® Bass Humbucking' got a chuckle out of me though.
