    Hello all,
Been holding on to this since 1991. Picked it up while touring in France at that time. Original owner since new. 35 1/2" scale, 2 1/8" nut and 15 mm bridge spacing. I've found it pretty easy to get used to the tight spacing. Great for fingerstyle and chords. Slap, not so much, but possible. Bart soapbars and Bart 3 band EQ w/ 18v wiring. Birdseye body/neck with mahogany stringers. 120 yr old Brazilian rosewood fingerboard! Sets up incredibly easily, low action. Very good shape. No major dings or flaws on this rare Luthier crafted instrument. Let me know if anyone wants more pics. Ships in Levy's CM19L bag.

Great guy to work with and a beautiful bass!
  5. So you are Kip Reed, bass player for Tania Maria at the time.

Quite well remember your bass being made as I ordered my Leduc HMP 528 SF at the same time.

For those not knowing Christophe LEDUC, he is THE French master luthier and a good friend of Mike TOBIAS who owns a Leduc too.

Marcus MILLER, Alain CARON and Abraham LABORIEL still play their Leduc basses...

If you've never played a Leduc, you've never played a bass as that's one of the only bass where you hear the fundamental of your note, even the low B : good luck to find the other makers able to do this.

Considerer this as a free bump by someone who has played and owned around 20 Leduc basses.
