  1. Yeah i accidentally put this in the wrong forum last time, so i'll give it another shot ;)

ok i have been really struggling with this lately... I've been learning pick technique(playing chords-well with 2 notes mainly i forget what their called... and slap techniques... but mainly struggling with the pick... who are some good bassists, or good rules of thumb to follow while left hand muteing?
  2. by left hand mutting you mean holding your finger on the string without pressing down on the fret? right? i guess help with that i would say just try not to press down on the string to hard, but just enough pressure to mute it. Good pick bassist? listen to Matt Freeman from rancid, "maxwell murder" is a great pick bass song, also listen to "the decline" by NOFX he uses that "2 note chord" also Blink-182 has mostly easy pick bass lines for you to start with, although there are more complicated ones like caurosel(with 2 note chords) and Man overbaord
