How would you describe the fretboard on the Alembic? I like 5's with narrow spacing. Also, do you think it is suited for Rock?
The fretboard is ebony. String spacing is on the wide side, neck dimensions are 1.875 at the nut, 2.930 at 24th fret. The spacing is a little less than on most 4 strings. I have medium sized hands and have no trouble playing it. It will take a very low setup, making it easy to play. It is great for rock, I play through a Mesa Boogie 400+ and use an old cheap Peavey combo for practice, it sounds great through both.
