Well, its hard to find lefties in Europe...

Thomann.de might have some lefties; musicstorekoeln.de, also; your best bet is to contact local dealers.
    Good luck!

Am a lefty in Europe also.

From my own experiences, some places to look might be:

http://www.lefthandedguitars.co.uk/ - Good selection of budget basses.

    http://www.southpaw.net

http://www.basscentral.com - Traded emails with Gard (who's a TB member too!) about a lefty fretless a while back, he's happy to ship to Europe, and was thoroughly friendly and helpful.

http://www.bassnw.com - No leftys in stock, but happy to order a custom and ship it.

http://www.nevada.co.uk - Limited selection, but can order from quite a range of custom basses.

Damn, why did you have to show that page!

Must... resist... GAS... need... money... for... else!

And I'm getting a bass tomorrow, too, so this was no good idea! :rollno:

www.drumcityguitarland.com has all kinds of lefty basses in stock (for real, what you see on their website is usually what they actually have), ready to ship .

Ebay is always my first choice though.

    Good luck!!!

Having said that though, it's been 2 months of fairly intensive searching and emailing, and I've yet to find a lefty fretless 5 anywhere.

If only there was some kind of lefty bassist network out there to share resources and basses wanted/for sale...

There's a lefty fretless 5 string at www.fbass.com under available instruments. It's pretty sweet. I've been wanting it for a month now but I just can't afford it right now. Please buy it so I'll stop going to that site and looking at it! And welcome, we can always use another lefty.

There's a lefty Rick on ebay you might be interested in... Don't have the URL handy, but a search should bring it up.

www.leftybass.com has also just had a few new basses added to their secondhand section.

Since I know a few people are still subscribed to this thread, I just thought I'd mention that www.leftybass.com now has 2 FBasses for sale on it, one BNF5, one BN5.

Sadly I can't afford either, but I'm sure someone here probably can :)

  18. Hello Slipsen

Welcome to the world of Lefty bass players!!

I have used and Ibanez (not bad) a MIJ Fender (lovely) and now got me a Stingray 5 (awesome!!!!)

If you need another source for lefty instruments, there's a guy in Perth called PK's music.
