Anyone know where I can find a lefty t bird or SG style bass?
I don't have the insane amounts of cash for a Gibson and I have no problem with a decent copy.

Mystic maybe you have some ideas?

I have seen a Tokai Thunderbird copy pop up on eBay a few times, so at least I know Tokai produced them.

Lefty SGs are extremely rare and I don't think there were produced much after the '70s. I recall an original lefty '60s-something sold on eBay last year for more than $3000.

I really think your best bet is to save and build a bass from Warmoth parts. They make both body types lefty.

The Tokai T-Bird has been listed on ebay a couple of times already with no takers, and each time the price dropped. (Last BIN was $650). Maybe you can contact the seller and talk him down?

Epiphone made T-Birds in very limited quantities, and they pop up on ebay from time to time, but I agree if you want one now you should either grab the Tokai or build one with Warmoth parts.
