Left over cabs

  1. My band is getting the boot from our Jamspace next month, and there's probably going to be a lot of gear lying around that no one wants. Ha!

There are two bass cabs that are currently used as stands for the PA. No one knows who they belong to. I will try and take them with me.

One is a Fender cab with 3 inputs on the back for Hi, low, and full range. Looks like 1x15 and 2x10. Looks fat. 15" is blown/unwired.

The other is a Trace Elliot, big metal grill, looks like a single 15" and a 10" or an 8" mounted "slant" style (like the NV series). 4 inputs on the back, two 1/4" and two small(?) XLR-style. Smaller speaker no good, 15" works, unless it's rigged for crazy biamping (which the fender is as well in theory).

i'll try and take pics tomorrow.

What do you think, worth rescuing? I have no amp safe to test them with now as I only have tube amps (waiting on a Gk1001RB) but I did the battery test for the speakers.

  2. Sure save them and sell them if you don't care for the sound. The Fender sounds like a BXR? series.

  3. Yeah that sounds familiar.
