    man..........this guy just rules
i've been hearing to some old Primus stuff, and i'm sure that he's even better than flea....
  2. Claypool is talented, I'll give him that. He just doesn't float my boat.

I voted Geezer Butler, simply because he was one of my main influences. I like RHCP, and Flea is an amazing bass player. But, I still don't get excited about his basslines like I do with Butler and Harris. Maybe because distinct basslines are few and far between in metal.

They are all great bassists, but my personal favorites in the list are Butler and Harris.

I voted for Flea, although all the others on the list are also great bassplayers.

B.t.w. I predict with my great psychic powers that this post will be moved to Bassists in the near future.
  4. Geezer Butler.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I will watch the Senegal - Sweden rerun. I have sucessfully avoided the outcome all day and I'm damn proud of myself for that.

i said "dont go to Off Topic" because i have a Senegal/Sweden thread there and i dont want to spoil his game

  8. At what? In terms of ability I would say I rate Claypool highest.

  9. LOL! :p

I'd been avoiding Off Topic all day for excacly that reason. I did have a quick peek in there and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for not putting the outcome in the thread title.
