  1. what kind of bass does primus (and many other bands) bassist and singer play, i know he has a 6 string and a 4 string, but what kind?

  2. Les likes to use Carl Thompson basses. Lately, he favors the fretted four.

but just for fun id like to let yall know that a while back i was buyin an ampeg svt8x10 and it just so happened that when i was buying it he was playin in new orleans at the time. the store that i bought the svt from had an 8x10 but they were renting it out to LES CLAYPOOL!! so i had actually bought the amp that the man himself used. i was lucky enough to get him to sign it.
