les claypools filter effect

    does anyone know what type of envelope filter (at least i think thats what it is )les claypool has been using on the frog brigade records. he also uses it on videoplasti it sounds like a dj scratching.

    a very high end korg multi effect unit. You can get that sounds pretty easy with any DECENT filter with a fuzz. My moogerfooger and ODB-3 does it perfectly. I believe the Korg, a Boomerand, and a Sansamp is all he uses these days... atleast outside his rack... i dont even want to touch that one.
