Leslie / Rotary sim pedals... what's good these days?

Several years ago I had an Option 5 Destination Rotation, which apart from a lack of lows with the drive setting engaged, sounded lush.

Since then there have been several new pedals on the market, and @ProtonLenny's vid for the Ventilator II has re-ignited my Leslie GAS:

There's a few more out there these days such as:
    • EHX Lester K / Lester G
    • Pigtronix Rototron
    • Keeley Dyno My Roto
    • Strymon Lex
    • Boss RT-20
    • Tech21 RotoChoir
    • DigiTech Ventura
Anybody compared any of these on bass?

Strymon Lex and DLS Rotosim. Mine is Mobius (DLS Rotosim was before).

Love my Mobius! Covers all the rotary I’ll ever need.

Is the Lex on the Mobius identical to the standalone pedal? Same primary, secondary and tertiary controls?
  6. It sounds like an amazing rotary cabinet simulator that scratches a very specific itch well. For my needs, I have a Mobius and a H9, so while this is a better emulator...those two processors cover that itch well enough for me at the moment. It's also the kind of effect I'd want to use as a combination of presets via midi...which the other pedals cover and this one doesn't.

I guess not many people have done a rotary sim shootout then! I love the sound of that Ventilator but if I can get 90% of that in a smaller cheaper pedal I would do that instead. Time to search Youtube, not expecting many bass demos out there though!

I got the H9 which I think is good, I’ve tried the Lex and for me that sounded better. I think I have to get the Mobius in the near future just because it’s so fun with effects.

Here’s a new and probably cheap contender to try out: Vibraclone Rotary | TC Electronic

...allow me to add to the chorus (um, I mean the rotary effect):
    Strymon Lex.

I use it mostly on my Nord C1 organ but it makes anything in the geetar or bass realm twirl!
