I know these questions have been asked before, but can someone tell me what bass Roger of Less Than Jake uses and that guy from Linkin Park in The: 'In THe End' video uses. Cheers.

Ernie Balls, Musicmans, aye. True dat, true dat. But who cars, the guy from linkin park sucks as does the rest of the band (DONT BUY THEIR RECORDS THEY MIGHT GET A HINT AND STOP PLAYING MUSIC ALLTOGETHER) This is the begining of something big, vive the revolution
Actually, the bass that Phoenix is using in that video is a Musicman Sterling. Its a Blue Dawn finish with black pickguard and black pickup cover, maple fingerboard, unpainted headstock. Im pretty sure he uses Sterlings exclusively because he also uses a black one in the video for "Crawling." You can tell that its a Sterling because of the certain way the neck looks at the nut (its thinner like a Jazz Bass) and how there is no metal control plate behind the 3 band EQ. There is also a three-way pickup coil selector switch on the Sterling that the Stingray doesnt have. Also, the pickguard is swiveled just a little bit off center, but that isnt really noticible at all. Just sharing my expertise of the Musicman basses with all you guys!
I think he uses a stingray 5 in the in the end video. I know when the play live he uses either a sterling or a stingray 5. I love the color of the bass in the video for in the end.
no, its definately not a stingray 5. You can tell right off that it isnt one by the pickguard. Ray 5's have a much different looking pickguard. I am 110% sure that bass is a Sterling.
