I'd love to see more of these basses. I'm thinking of getting one to go with my Ric 4003.
How stable is the neck could you tune up to D with out any adjustments?
Sound wize how vesitile is it?
Is it a good studio bass?
I play finger style mainly but I like to spread my self around so I have to be able to do all types of music.
I'm not a big fan of 5 strings but this bass looks like it would kick ass.
Would I be better off with a Stu Hamm or a Wal or a G&l?
I like to be unique or at least a little bit different is this bass going to make me happy.

I think that Wal is a totally different instrument... however the RB is a nice bass. I've played one in Candy Apple Red finish. The neck is a bit chunky, but it offers a lot of different tones and it's comfortable to play.

Munji, I'm totally jealous of yours. My "teal" one is 1996, and doesn't have a hint of green in it. I wonder if yours has a gold undercoat and mine has silver? Or maybe mine faded.

    GAAAAASSS! NOT AGAAAAAAIN!
    I WANT THIS BASS

Speaking seriously I'm a bit divided between Peavey Cirrus 6 string and the Roscoe Beck ....

Or ..... What about the new FMT 5 string?
    Is better?

The Roscoe Beck Basses are excellent. I own 2 of them. Check out the photos on carlculpepper.com. Use the address search. Look under band photos.
