It would take me to Warmoth.com to buy a neck and some pickups. ;)

    Very nice.

Why don't you make it a Lightwave or a Piezo style bass? That way there would be more quilted wood visible.

You're never gonna be able to stick 18 strings onto this this body. :)

It will probably take many to GAS strokes :smug:

  9. Very cool, and gorgeous. I envision black hardware and maybe a maple fretboard with matching headstock in this body's future.

I wonder how well Ziricote would work in this situation...

Redwood (specifically burled redwood) is definitely my favorite topwood... do me a favor and dont spoil it!

I sort of like the idea of a plain maple fretboard. Whats the body?

That piece is so pretty you should make a guitar out of it!

From the looks of it, it can only take us to someplace very very nice.

I'd actually use satin gold hardware with a birdseye maple fretboard.

    I think I'd make a Lakland-like, with MM-J and maple neck.

  19. I like the thought of a birdseye board. Gold hardware could look great too.

No no no not at all,it's every aspect is very much complete.it's in the process of having the neck joint carved out(yes it's a bolt on)and from there all parts will be placed together.
