I know this a werid request but hey. Lets see them
wow that is one good looking bass
Made by Chris Benavente, it's an awesome instrument.
After playing a Lowend 5 at the Arlington guitar show I had to order one from Brian Barrett. I hope it'll be in my hands by Christmas
I am glad you posted that becasue I was having trouble picturing a J style 7. I was thinking my next custom would be a 7 string J-style. I like the Conklins but the J-style is more my vibe.
I want mine strung C#-F#-B-E-A-D-G.
But I am thinking the fanned fret system may be warranted.
How is this one strung?
You asked for it.
In my personal Collection:
Everytime I see this bass I droll!!!! The color combos are AWESOME. Merry Christmas to you!!!!!
Wow, I considered getting a 6, and never even imagined it in a jazz style, or even a 7. Beautiful stuff.
a pretty standard look
My Sei Jazz 5.
CU on the body:
That is the only 7 string Jazz bass I have seen anywhere in my life. Heck, I haven't even seen a Jazz 6. It seems most players that dig the classic jazz style/look aren't quite as into the extened stuff the more hi-fi crowd. Kinda cool eh....
Yeah, I am very excited.
Merry Christmas to you 2
Don't know if you consider this custom or not, but I want to post a pic of it My Metro.
This one has subsequently been modified to active with a Bartolini 3-band, 18v. Hanewinckel Vintage Retro 4:
That Black sadowsky is just like Jason Newsted's newest one. The 24-fretter with J pickups in the standard positions
Currently it's tuned from the low B up, and I think I'll
keep it that way; but I might restring it starting with an F#
Well if I go lower than a B do you know anyone who makes a cab that will handle it?
Yes it is. The only difference between his & mine his has an mini switch for the preamp by-pass & I opted for no on/off at all because Inever use it & he has the spokewheel truss rod adjuster & mine is the older one becasue I like the way it looks better.
