ok, folks, lets see pics of all the extended range (more than 4 strings) basses.
I smell some kind of segregation here!!!!!!
I´m gonna call 4-string-bass Rigths!!!!!!
JT, you fishing for another chance to post pics of your new toy? I'd love to see another picture.
I've only got a four, five and a six and I've posted this picture a lot - but here it is again:
hey, caracas bass, i got a thread for 4 stringers too. i figured it would be cool to have the pics seperated like that.
nice basses allan - nice flame on that cirrus.
My K5...just barely in the Extended Range!
IN your reply and picture, I noticed behind the Fender Jazz Bass there is a little amp. Maybe a pignose? I don't know. It looks about like a 25 or 30 watt amp. Are you powering that cabinet off of that amp, and if you are, how well does it do, and is there a great sound increase? I was wanting to know because I too have a Bassman25 and was wondering how big of a difference it would be in volume to power a cab. off of it, which the manual saids you can.(4x10). Thanks
Here is my bass, just makes it. But I am currently extending further, much further.
But not so far as you, JT.
edit: Whitey, that cab is a Eden Nemesis NC410P, it is a combo amp. It has a 225 watt amplifier. It is a very nice amp. I used to have one, till I got my SWR.
Another barely extended range bass:
Dingz...I think I'm gonna need some Kleenex after seeing that Dingwall. Pappa likes! That's an awsome colore, and not to mention I like the pup configuration. Now, if Only I could get ahold of the Novax, to see iffin I like them enough.
Iffin if it ever strikes you to sell that bad boy...I'm right here!
yet another BARELY extended range bass...
Well I don't have pics of my 5-strings, but I'll go ahead and link this picture again:
This is my only bass with more than 5 strings. My 5-string basses are pretty plain, so I haven't bothered to take pics of them.
Here's my newest, just got it today (actually Warwick burgundy red, not fire engine):
Modulus Quantum 5:
Lull P5 (actually deep blue, not purple):
Me and my trusty Fender RB5:

Here it is.... in all the funky cheeseness that it is.
Damn you people give me gas...
These are my current favorite 5/6/7's.

Thanks, JT. Love that Roscoe, man. Had it about a year now and really dig it. Find myself takin' it and the Modulus Q6 to most of my gigs these days...
