I figure this is close to what I most likely will be getting next, and Epiphone/Gibson Explorer bass. I'll probably install a thumb rest on it if the one I get doesn't all ready have one.

I'm not in the market right now, but I would love this one (Darrin Huff Zero 5):

  13. I'm totally cool with my basses for now, but when I get my next bass, it'll be kinda like this.

Swamp ash body, trasparent black finish so you can see the wood grain, white body binding, dual soapbar pups, BAII bridge, passive electronics wired V/V/T/T, 4 string graphite neck.

  14. heres mine

This will be mine in about six weeks. No joke :) I played one last week and I honestly believe it is the best fretless you can buy. Mine will have the optional pre amp as well.

    Should be nice...

  16. If I wasn't obsessed with the idea of finding a nice enough fretless four, I wouldn't mind one of these, only with fewer strings:

  17. Probably sometime next spring now :(

..Gibson Grabber 3 (4-string) - Natural finish, maple neck & body, a maple fret board or is it ash? or rosewood? and a black headstock. 3 single coil jazz style pups.

    Bassist not included :(:p

    :D

  18. If that fails... A Fender MIM P-bass. White transparent finish, with a purple tortoise finish scratchplate. Everythign else standard, and then a set of d'addario slowounds, for both basses ;)

Custom project. It'll be done when I have the money in a year or so.
