I recently had the pleasure of playing a warrior bass for the first time and man was I impressed. They had a great flat necks although it was just a little narrow for me.

I've always been very intersted in Warriors. The finishes are killer looking withy the wood combo's . I have never been able to play one so I would appreciate your guys opinions on these basses.

I like a lot on paper the humbucker plus bridje jazz pickup placement. It also look very cool. Never played one though, they're not very spread here in europe.

I heard on this board mixed feedback about them, hopefully some owenr will chime in

This is all we have for pics? One Bass? We need more. :)

  14. Sorry it took me so long to chime in.

This is my 2005 Signature 4 Neck Through. Mahogany/Purpleheart/Mahogany neck with sick birdseye maple board.
    Ash wings
    Rosewood headstock cap
    Mahogany/Ebony/Rosewood knobs
    MM/J Barts
    Bart/Warrior 3 Band pre
    Neutrik Locking Jack
    Recessed strap-locks
    Ugly Teal finish!!:D

There was a comment made about the pickup configuration. I always explain it as a reverse Lakland. It made so much sense to me. How often do solo the neck pickup on a J bass (Lakland)? How often do you solo the bridge pickup of a J bass (Warrior)?

This bass is great. I've owned several high-end basses, and played dozens more, and this is as nice as any bass I've ever played.

As for the tone, well that is what sold me on this bass. I kept telling myself that I didn't want a Warrior. The color wasn't what I wanted, I had never cared for any bass with a MM pickup, but as I played it at the shop (I bought it new) several times, I just couldn't deny it any longer.

These songs were recorded direct into the computer. No preamp. Pickups panned in the middle, and preamp flat.

  15. Look, guys, I know it's pretty . . . but a thread killer????
