Victor Wooten is really Miley Cyrus in drag.
Playing in sneakers makes your bass more resonant so you loose the dead spots.
11" speakers can be combined with 17" speakers without any frequency disruption.

No, people in China string their basses just like you and me. It's the folks south of the equator that string their basses GDAE.

flat wounds were invented so girls could play bass and still have soft hands.

The 410 was invented by a bassists with cabinet envy. They wanted something that looked as cool as a marshall stack.

Good bass sound is about size and weight. The longer the scale, bigger the magnet, heavier the wood, fatter the fingers and thicker the strings the better the sound.

That's because Australia was originally settled by violinists, and the violin is normally strung GDAE. You know this is all true because to this day, Australians say "gdae" instead of "hello".

  13. Wow. Your good.

In fact, only left handed basses exist in Australia, they just look like right handed ones in our pictures.

  16. Pickups create audio signal by picking up the vibrations of the body wood. The vibrating wires make intermittent contact with each other creating the audio signal.

If your bass keeps going out of tune, your tuners are slipping. Take them apart and put valve grinding compound in them and it will create drag in the mechanism and your bass will stay in tune. If you really like the strings on your bass, and thus have no plans to ever change them, you can just use super glue on the tuners to accomplish the same goal.

Fret ends sticking out mean that your neck has gotten too dry. If your neck is too dry, then the body has gotten too dry as well. Remove the strings and soak the entire instrument in the bathtub until the wood returns to its original dimensions. If you have stainless steel strings, you can leave them on when soaking the bass. That's why many people prefer stainless steel strings. Your bass will now have a much better sound as well that sound engineers refer to as a "wet signal."

Once you tune your bass, you should put Loctite red on the tuners so that it will never go out of tune again.
