    A little known fact...

At a very young age Huey Lewis was inspired by his older brother to get into the music profession. Baby Huey, still in diapers, would dance around the room and sing when his older brother Jerry and friend of the family, Dean sang. By the time Huey was in his teens he was an accomplished performer making rock and roll news.

    And the rest is history.

Right. And 5 years for those who don't. :D (From the Strategic Foolyou Agency, ¥0.50 a post, everything in this bracket to be deleted.)

And you must play the bass and the bass drum in perfect sync, or your cabinet will be destroyed by the SPL of the bass drum.

    Now that's great misinformation ;)

  6. Ringo Starr was the often maligned drummer for the Beatles. Few people realize that he was the most talented member of that band. He made the most money post break up and he is the only drummer ever to figure out how to play shuffled half notes and shuffled whole notes.

  7. The song Blue Suede Shoes was originally going to be about socks but they don't wear them in many Southern States so it was changed ..

That's what Robert Fripp started with on the way to finding New Standard Tuning. Fripp used to hang out with Rush when they were in Wales recording A Farewell to Crimson Kings (as it was called then). He mostly talked to Neil as he's the only one on the same intellectual plane as his Bobness. Alex spent the majority of his time trying to get Fripp to eat bacon as he saw his vegetarianism as some sort of challenge, so Fripp tolerating him enough to pick up on the tuning was quite unexpected. The influence of The Court of the Crimson King can be heard all over the record after Bob played it to them 73 times in succession, which is what prompted the original record title. It was toned down for release after Fripp threatened to send in his 'attack dog' Brian Eno round if they didn't. It took 20 years before they buried the hatchet (in one of Geddy's Wals). Sadly Neil is now suffering from too many back problems to become the 4th drummer in King Crimson, despite the invitation.

His band was called the News as it replaced the previous band that was composed entirely of his older siblings and other relatives and were known as the Olds.

  12. Keith Richards actually died several years ago.... and the Rolling Stones just keep him on ice.... every time they do a tour, they just wheel him out (like Weekend at Bernie's) and after the concert they put him back on ice until the next show....
