Lexicon MPX1

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by bobbykokinos, Feb 6, 2005.

  1. I use to use a Lexicon MPX1 for bass effects. I was VERY pleased by the quality of the product and the versatility. You could plug together just about any patch you want.

The one problem was I thought it was very thin sounding. Maybe because it was for general effects processing rather than just bass.

Are there any suggestions for any other rack mountable processors that rival the quality of the lexicon? The main thing I want is a processor that has a foot controller that has a variable pedal (dont know exactly what its called, but a "whammy" pedal).

    Any help would be appreciated.

Blend some straight Bass with your FX.

Don't just run your entire signal through FX.
