Lighter tuners USA STD?

  1. For 2008+ models? Hipshot makes a drop tuning key but that's it. The stockers are pretty light but I've got a touch of neck dive I'd like to cure without a heavy bridge.

    /\/\3phist0 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) mmm Woody! DHDIK? Sweet Treets.

Gotoh makes some ultralights as does schaller. Hipshot ultralights will work just fine but will require drilling and leaving some "extra" holes exposed.

  3. Hmmm yeah I'm hoping to keep this one in original, unmolested condition. Would rather not drill holes.

The holes for the hipshots would be hidden by the original tuners when re - installed.

The stock keys are made by Hipshot, aren't they?

  6. I do believe they are, James. When I spoke with Jason at NAMM several years ago he hinted that they would be making them, when I asked about the possibility of a detuner. So I guess it's as good as it gets without drilling. Maybe I'll bite the bullet.
