    are there any lightwave users?
i understand they are great for fretless, but does anyone have them on a fretted? i am having an mtd 535 made and am considering the lightwave. but i'm not sure they are the right call for funk and slapping or an all around gigging bass.

Hmm... good question. I have a Lightwave Zon, and a Magnetic p/u Zon and I've been thinking about switching the necks to see how the Lightwave system might work for a conventional fretted application. For fretless, it is wonderful, with all the qualities I want in a fretless electric. I'm going to try this in a couple of weeks, I'll report back then.
