    hi all,

    i haven't posted about my Zon/V-Bass in a while.

    UPDATE:

    i had the prototype hexFX option installed a few years back. AMAZING response...optical pups directly wired - triggering the V-Bass.

    I'm getting the production HFX option in a month or so.

    no dangling wires, no roland pod stuck to my bass!

    Did you install the HexFX kit yourself? If so, was it difficult?

    Lightwave Systems will be installing the HexFX upgrade.

    i'm lethal with a soldering iron!!!

    Very interesting !! I always thought that the lightwave pups would be a better source for modeling than piezos. I would be very interested in hearing soundclips when you get this together.

    What is the total cost?
