I purchased a lightwave bass, Saber A 5 string fretless from lightwavemusic.com and want to let you know that this bass is not only a screamer, it is truly a work of art. I would be interested in hearing from other bassists that are playing these basses and your opinions. I have only had the opportunity to play live twice with this bass and from those 2 experiences, it was phenomenal. Additionally, I have been extremely pleased with the staff at this company, ther customer service is outstanding and if you are considering purchasing a lightwave system, would recommend contacting them in Ohio.

Steve and Mike wilson are the Koolest Kats around.I have nothing but the highest level of Respect for them and what they are striving towards.I have a 5 string Fretless Lightwave and it is the Bomb and sings like a Bird.I recently put a set of Tomastic Acousticore strings(E-C)on it and it is a match made in Heaven. The ones they sell for $350 are prototypes.

If you haven't seen it,I'm in the July(04)issue of Bass Player Magazine in an Ad for Lightwave-Music.

My point was fairly obvious, wasn't it? The post reads like a shill, to me. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm interested in the Lightwave basses, too. Always have been.

I don't see a problem with a guy bragging on his new bass.
I'm also interested in Lightwave, but I notice everytime a new Lightwave thread starts a certain someone (who will remain nameless) chimes in with a totally negative remark and posts a link to a company whose website hasn't had a new post or update in years! Sounds like sour grapes to me. :crying:

    ME ME!!!

completely understand this take on the situation. things will be changing.

bassman, i got your PM. would have been nice if you would have waited for my reply before coming to a public conclusion.

i agree, my responses don't look good on the surface.

however, bassmonkeee picked up on the odor with aplomb.

    i will respond in private.
