Lightweight and goodsounding fivestring??

    Suggestions on lightweight (absolutely max 8lb13oz /4 kg)and goodsounding fivestring or 35" (for detunig B E A D) fourstr.avaliable in Euroupe??

    I've tested Peavey Cirrus basses and they qualify.But is there any others?

    Many of the Ibanez basses come to mind as do the Fender Zone and Fender Dimension.

    What's your budget?

    I've just bought and used Peavey Cirrus
    (8lb/3,85kg-walnut/bubinga body)

    Anyone who have sugestions on wich strings to use for B E A D tuning on that bass (35")

    Aren't the MTD Kingston and Heir light in weight? Those get a ton of praise 'round these parts.
