Lightweight tuners

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by Lisa Weiss, Feb 9, 2002.

  1. Wasn't sure where to post this, but I figured I couldn't go wrong here. I'm looking for good quality, lightweight tuners. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hipshot Ultralights seem to be the most popular. I have them on my Rick Turner Electroline, and they work great.

I've been considering putting a set of Hipshot Ultralites on my DeArmond Starfire Bass, which is a tad neck heavy. They seem to be the lightest readily available tuners out there - Stew Mac seems to have a good price on them.

  6. Thanks guys! I'll check Hipshot out! My current two basses are pretty heavy, and I'm looking to cut some weight in my new one, which should be finished sometime in May.

Thanks for posting that Link MJB!
