Does anyone know of a pedal like the SD Pickup Booster or the MXR M-113 Micro Amp that can be used to LOWER the volume kinda like a variable pad switch?????

To my understanding, on the MXR Micro Amp, if you turn it below 12 o'clock, it turns down the volume.

A volume pedal, or any unit with a built-in preamp if a knob is enough for you.
The ever-useful Boss LS-2 for example will do that.

I'm looking for something w/ a knob that will stay in place not an exp pedal type of thing. also I'm looking for something that I can turn on and off.

Radial BassBone!....or the SansAmp Programmable BDDI. I know, these might be overkill, but nevertheless.
Another option might be an EQ pedal with a level slider.

Yes, the BassBone would be good. I've used it to run through the board, and it's great.
