    Somebody must know...there's a G.A.S.-er's anonymous, right?
I need an intervention! :p

    Just ordered an old Mesa-Boogie D-180 (yup hunter~, I dun did it ;) )

And it all started with somebody's thread about NOT bein' able
to find Mesa stuff online. This was a challenge! :p I stumbled onto
one at a New Yawk shop on gbase.com at a decent price. Not a
Brad Johnson kinda' deal, but still pretty good. I figger this and
my current Mesa Buster head will make a good pair for the double...
one 200 watt TUBE head per neck.

Should be here late next week. Hmm...now what kinda' cab would
work well with this old tube'r...:D
  2. My,Oh My, a custom double neck bass, and now another amp? Someone hit the ponies big! NotD man, you're stirring up the jealousy pot here!
Seriously, with an old tube head, I'd say a nice 2x15 bottom for that 60s & 70s tone. Which shop did you find it at? I'm in NYC, and if they don't come through, let me know; I'll go down dere en paswade 'em, ya know wuta mean?

    200 tube watts, nice.

Nahh. Don't gamble - smoke like a chimney, tho' :p.
I think I've mentioned it before, but my credit rating
(like a fine piece of flamed maple) went to AAAAAA½
once I divested myself of a certain asset-liquidatin' blonde
    killing machine .

    I ain't decided on a cab(s) yet. I wanna' integrate it into
my current rig. For some reason, my first thought was "12's".
Maybe a couple of the new Aguilars? :D .
Thanx! Actually, it was http://www.imperialguitar.com .
    But I found `em via a search on gbase.com . They're in
Newburgh, NY. Annnd...it's on the wayyyy! Got a trackin'
    number an' everah-thang.

    embellisher...What did I say? I don't wanna' get my
thumbs broke. I need`em! I have enough trouble provin'
    I'm a hu-mon :) .

The D-180 is a very nice amp, ND.

I have my eye on the new Aguilars, the GS112's in particular. Best price so far $349 including shipping.

    Congrats! I still remember the "I don't need a D-180, I don't need a D-180..." rants:D

I was hopin' to add that 2x10 to my "repertoire", but since I had the "accident", I'll probably end up sellin' some o' my gear:(

Good thing they still have the "owner's manual" at
the M/B site. What with them cascadin' inputs and
all the pull-knobs, I'd be lost. I especially like how
the master volume is rigged as a "variable current
    regulator" :D.
    Ruh-roh
Li'l G.A.S. dude voice in my head, "Is that all?" :p
Have faith dude!...a 'deal' may come along ;)
