Phyohr, There are different degrees off purjury, If you lie about money in a failed investigation (Marth Stewart), You do time, If you lie about murder (lil Kim) you should do time, but maybe not if it's just Rap Singers, now if a bass player got killed I'd say throw the book at her! If you lie about sex (Bill Clinton) you get a medal from N.O.W.
  5. She'll be REAL popular in prison, what with her affinity for gettin her teats out....

I wonder why jazz never has any of theese gang wars and shootings like rap and hip hop do...or every other music genre for that matter.

Prolly because they were holding their guns sideways because it looks "cool" . . . .
  14. Because the anger in jazz musicians is diminished. :bag:

Hank Williams was a real mean bastard, as were a lot of old country stars.

Jazz musicians back in the day often carried guns, Charles Mingus once went after a fellow band member with a fire ax.

You never heard the Buddy Rich stories about him pulling a gun on the band members for screwing up on the gig? There are some classic recordings of his rants on the band bus online, I'll see if I can find them again.

Edit: I just realized I can't post a link to this on Talkbass, per the rules. It's definitely not Sunday School stuff.
