Limited Edition Custom Shop Epiphone Thunderbirds?

can you show me the links from them?? if they are the silverburst ones then i could probably explain it.but if they are the regular finished ones,then i have no idea why they'd put that on them..

 

I believe it's because they were finished in special colors, such as alpine white, blue, and red.

I've actually owned two, and both were decent instruments for the price, but I'm not sure there's much to the "limited edition custom shop" label.

Will say this though. The Epi-birds that were made in Korea are much better than the Chinese basses. IME.

 

ok,so i decided to just take a look for myself and found two of them.and i took a look at my epi bird to see if it had the marking as well,and it did NOT.so idk what the deal with that is,cause they just look like regular ebony T-birds.no special pickups or hardware,etc.the only think i could think of is that maybe epiphone is starting to limit their ebony finish in the birds.

Mine is ebony, and has that stamp on the back of the headstock.
