I just bought a basket case 1966 Fender Mustang only to later discover one of the pickups was capoot. Like the wires were all (not literally all) ripped out. I decided to send them to Lindy for a 5% over stock rewind.
    What can I expect?
I haven't heard this or any Mustang for that matter. I've heard the stock pickups were pretty weak.

I didn't see any and my mustang search proved fruitless. I could probably have got one thru Fender since then still do a reissue but it's not 100% original now anyway. Plus it's too late. I already sent off the old ones.

Lindy is one of the best at what he does, If you don't like the sound when you get the bass back together just tell him the sound you are looking for and he will rewind them again for you free. He does this with every pup he sells!
