Has anybody gotten there hands on the new Line 6 FM4, or Filter Pro yet? I've listened to some sound samples from the Line 6 website that were done with a guitar that sound pretty cool. I think the next pedal I get will be something that can do filters and synth sounds, so this looks like a great unit for me. What is the retail of the FM4 and the Filter Pro? I wasn't really considering modeled effects until I played with a POD a few days back, where the Tron up & down and synth jumped out at me, since I all ready have distortion, flange, phase, and delay I don't need those again. Any idea how the sounds from the POD compare to the FM4? I'd assume the FM4 would sound better since it's dedicated to those sounds, unlike the POD which is mainly amp modeling and recording in a project studio, although it can be used live. But the idea of ditching my stomp boxes, and getting a POD Pro to use for the effects has entered my mind as well. The downside to that is I don't need or want amp modeling, I love the tone of my Eden amp so it would be pointless to model another amp. I'm sure it would be great for recording in my project studio, but I can record direct from my head just as easily, so it doesn't really get points for that. So I'm leaning away from the POD for effects and recording for the time being, maybe I'll get one later on for recording if it ever gets to a point where I don't have my gear around the studio constantly.
