The cable that runs from your bass to the transmitter...

Is it 1/4" connections on both ends, or the traditional 1/4" to 1/8"?

...and do you have the g30 or g50? Do you like it?

Got the G50, and it is 1/4 inch on the bass end, and a ta4f connector on the transmitter end. Kind of like a mini xlr. I tell you though. These new units seem way better constructed than the old X2's. From the metal chassis on both the transmitter and receiver, to the quality of the cable. The battery compartment, the belt clip, are all miles ahead of the X2's. Love the tuner out on the receiver too. Range and sound seem just as good. Time will tell about reliability. Awesome purchase.

Got mine a few days ago and I agree with washishimi. You can buy replacement cables for the receiver with the angled 1/4" for the bass for $20 at Sweetwater Sound. They work perfect I bought 2 cables. The cable is a Sure WA304.
