    Picking up my X3 Live board today. The fact it is for both bass & guitar is an extra bonus. I was looking at adding couple of pedals to my bass sound and for an extra 50-100 bucks I've got a unit that has everything I could ever want already built in. I may or may not use some amp modeling with my stage set up, probably more effects than any thing else.
    Pretty much a hacker on guitar but do have some tracks that I'm going to re-amp.

    Also do the occasional semi-acoustic gig that I use my original bass pod plugged direct into the PA. The amp models on the X3 are far superior and have just made a huge improvement to my sound for this gig.

    For those of you who don't want or like amp modeling the effects alone are worth more than 300.00. The flexibility is worth far more than that.

    Someone buy this unit, you will not be disappointed.
