Line Selector vs Micro Amp

I have bought a new passive bass. I really love the tone, but I need something to boost the signal so I can use it with my active bass without changing anything on my amp. Especially for my overdrive pedal so it gets the same input level.
I have a Boss Line Selector for that which is ok. Is there anyone that have compared the Line Selector to the MXR Micro Amp? Which is the most uncolored pedal of these two?
I only need a boost pedal cause I don't want to have a onboard preamp on the passive bass.
I don't use the basses at the same time.

    Any suggestions?

You're a little vague about what's wrong with the Line Selector- does it color your sound too much?

I had a true bypass Loooper line selector made with passive volume pots for each input for the same reason as you, except I turn down the volume on the active rather than add additional gain to increase the volume of the passive.
