I am looking for some synth sound pedal (preferably programmable). Is the Line 6 Filter Modeler any good?
    Any other options?

yes, it has some very good models. IMO the filter models on the new podxt live are substantially better.

If you do a search on FM4 you'll find a couple of pages of threads about the pedal, including comparitive reviews against other filter pedals

  3. well, i thought that it would be a great pedal for bass, but after trying it out for a few months, i sold it. i have to say that that i do tune down low (adgc) and that may have had to do with it. i also remember that some of the effects would have a slight drop in volume. but, i think that it would still be a great pedal for recording.
