what sort of killing sound do you want? Do you want a synth or a filter?

some filter funk sound near to a synth :D
  4. I have their delay & like it a lot- lots of good, useable sounds, true bypass, easy. I've played with a few EHX pedals, & they never sounded as good for bass as I'd wanted them to. Moog stuff looks really sweet but expensive. Try them all & tell us what you think. Actually, you might try a DOD FX 25- cheap & not bad.

I haven't tried the Moog (I'd like to) or the Line 6. However, I really like my EH Bass Microsynth. Extremely tweakable, and can go from somewhat subtle to pretty outrageous. Disadvantages are that they're not programmable, and can be somewhat fragile.
  6. I'd say go for the Line 6 just for the variation. You get 16 presets and gobs of different filter types. With the Moog or the EH, you get only one...even though they're awesome, you're still pretty limited.
