    Hey Steve,
Being a wrack effects user I thought you might have a tweak on one of the above line6 units? If so, what did you think?

    Hi Howard,

I've tried them, but not enough to make any kind of lasting judgement. My experience with both was good. I've got a student who has all three of the Line 6 rack modules, and they seem very cool, especially at the lower price you can get them for now. I think they all have digital in and outs, which would be very cool if you had all three and were recording to a PC that also had a digital in - means you're not converting backwards and forwards each time...

All worth looking at, to be sure...

    :)

Thanks Steve, that's enough of a review to be getting on with. I was just wondering really how/if they managed bass frequencies - I thought they'd be OK being that they're primarily designed as studio effects... you know how some stomp boxes are great.. just not on bass!

One more Q: Assuming your lexicon unit is wired via send & return is it unbalanced? if so, what cables are you using? Are they home made, if so what from?! or are they off-the-shelf?

I ask because you have a very clean signal going by the live album recordings at least.

PS, CD due soon! Drummer (producing) is faffing about. BUT I will be getting some mp3s of the 1st cut mixes online this weekend - along with the recordings I did recently at Metropolis with BlackSeaFire :meh:
